We The People~
i'm tired~going to bed after this... talked to the plumber today for an hour... feel like could teach a class now.... (pvc is better than cast iron piping because it doesn't rust or get rough and things don't stick to it) we did talk about other stuff though like how his mom is 93yrs old and been through pre-plumbing days, the great depression, world wars, vietnam.......... with the stories to tell. We discussed politics, the economy of other countries like Greece, China, etc... and how yeah we may be broke but America has a strong military power so we don't really have to worry about being taken over, and, we do still get to print our own money. What's great is if you have a product you don't have to get permission first from the government like say- communistic governments! And we don't work for a bowl of rice but that as other countries improve the quality of their product (like japan and taiwan used to produce not so good quality) but as improvement came and societies would develop roads and people would want cars, better electricity like in 3rd world countries, the people would want compensation to be more than a bowl of rice or two and before you know it, democracy will improvise and find it's way in through the people! We complimented St. Louis on the large size of city that still carries a family feel and agreed that family is the strong foundation of any successful society and how the influence of church helped keep that strong as a positive influence.... because families will fight for each other. And only strong families make strong countries~ Was a really good conversation! But what i called for was to find out about section 8 housing and he instantly, cheerfully gave me the hud contact number and an explantion of what to expect just to help me- for free! Neighbor helping neighbor, and from there learned his family is also from Germany, and the street name Hampel is named after his family, what university he graduated from, his age (60), how long he lived in California because had said i was from Cal.... so is amazing how we can learn from the French and take time as they do at lunch to really get to know somebody~Slow Down~because people are becoming important again~
