Do Without It
Results of not complaining: u get to become blameless and harmless (and love does no harm to a neighbor), because complaining is actually making a formal accusation.... the enemy comes to accuse because it is his character trait.... to complain is really to admit and believe in your accusations by expressing dissatisfaction and/or resentment, which in essence is to agree that you don't really think God is doing anything about it and that is an insult to your one and only true Friend- God. By forfeiting the complaint or the words that formulate these words of death, you are then able to hold fast to the words of life (v16 ) and finally see a miracle happen, a blessing occur, or some favor come. Patience is key. Patience must be allowed to have its perfect work. The challenge to complain is really just a test to achieve success if we don't give into it.... so LORD, i renounce my ability to complain the problem and receive my God-given right to overcome through being hidden in the mind of Christ and seeing something else in the story besides what i don't like.
