Here's clue to getting desires of yOUR heart..... (Ps 37:4) delight yOURself in the LORD... which means.... have a high degree of gratification, a high degree of pleasure, the kind of joy that makes you feel like you just got raptured, it's extreme satisfaction..... (Num 14:1-4) no wonder why when in the wilderness most never got anything because you see not one of these things in attitude or tongue..... (Num 14:27-30) except in a few people ok, so..... (Phil 2:14) being tempted to complain is out.... (Rom 10:17) faith comes by hEARing, (Matt 12:34) then out of abundance of OUR hEARt OUR mouth speaks.... Thanks LORD for OUR pure hEARt (Matt 5:8).
This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, "The LORD yOUR God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from yOUR brethren. Him you shall hEAR." (Acts 7:37-8) This is he who was in the ekklesia (=church=assembly=congregation) in the wilderness with the Angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, the one who received the living oracles to give to us... (v39) whom our fathers would not obey, but rejected. And in their hEARts they turned back to Egypt...
