Twice As Much

Job knew God by the hearing of the ear when he interceded for his family, paid his bills on time, operated as an upstanding citizen, was a regular church goer (ch 1)... but after his fears came upon him (Job 3:25)... and after facing his inner fears (spots/blemishes of doubt/unbelief), living off of if/then clauses instead of real deep faith, he repented after seeing his righteousness was still a filthy rag.... he has so much good kind of stuff going on that who would suspect all that was done was without the "rest" of God actually being present?  Job's heart was bent toward God and God appreciates our "try"... Job was trying with everything he had to serve God and God noticed, even seen Job positively for this (Ch 1), declaring an Isaiah 46:10 moment over Job as God called this fearful man His Servant and declared his status how there was none like him, he's blameless, upright, fears God, stays away from evil..... and on the surface of Job's life this is true so God decreed the End from the Beginning to finish the work IN Job so that Job could live in 1 Peter 1:9 and get REST TO HIS WEARY SOUL by receiving the END of his FAITH, the SALVATION OF HIS SOUL.... This it what made God decide to reward Job by testing him with fire so that God's fire could go into Job's inner man and destroy those spots and blemishes, for remember, you don't see God through good works alone or the word "if" and living by if/then clauses is not faith when fear is there empowering you to do it to make you insecure and kind of miserable.... Job repented.... he realized he was a mortal that was not higher than his Maker (40:8)... and in deliverance through repentance Job truly became the "pure in heart" who got to "see God" for Job so much as confessed (42:5) "i have heard of You God by the hearing of the ear BUT NOW MY EYE SEES YOU."  Then the next time Job prayed it actually worked and he actually produced good fruit when interceding this time to save those that he cared for from God's wrath (42:7-8, 10).  The same thing he was trying to do for his family in the beginning of the book but without results.  Job went beyond life after this inner deliverance, because Job had a good life already in the beginning of the book, but after sanctification Job received Life and Life more abundantly~  And that included rest and peace inside his being.  No more driving and striving to please everybody.  Life stopped driving him crazy~
