Interesting that in text, an awareness stood that a fall had happened and sitting in darkness occured but the exhortation told was to the enemy who was watching this fall, not to rejoice because God would be Light even though the person who sinned had to bear the indignation of the LORD for sinning; the person also knew that God would eventually plead the case and bring the person back to the light and so again His righteousness would be seen.... then over in v19 you see that the LORD's way of having compassion on you is to subdue your iniquities.... then cast sin into the depths of the sea. Micah 7:8-9, 19
