Priceless
Laid out on the plank in the raccoon cage and even though it was so hot, Sissy just laid on me, missing Bubba so much, she was willing for like 20 minutes to do this until i couldn't stand it because it was too hot. Raccoons have a normal body temperature of 101 to 103 degrees... Some reports said the heat index felt like 106 degrees today, so did put several frozen bottles of water in Sissy's water and in her bed at different times to help keep cooled off. She is just precious, very adorable, snuggling up to feel love and safe again, still sad that Bubba is gone. Two years ago i read that baby raccoons spend 23 out of 24 hours a day with their mother... could you imagine?! Anyway, wish to have had a picture of it... Precious Moments~
