What Did U Say?
There is this story i've met where this couple were married for over 20yrs but the relation was unhealthy over the longevity. The husband didn't want to let the wife in his life really and even told her how he didn't want to be her shadow and didn't want her to be his- in essense it must be like saying, we do our own thing but no unified story. Well, as the unhealthiness grew toward the end, he became a drunk, backslidden, cussing, filled with constant anger, got involved watching online porn, and just lying all the time... even doing strange things like withdrawing all the money out of the account then accusing the woman how she could ruin him- just really bizarre stuff, even more so because the woman saved money and it was the only reason the two had savings in an account.
Then finally the day came when the couple got a divorce, yet the guy didn't really like church all that much, had come close to renouncing literally, in his own words, "I'm about ready to tell God to fuck off..." and so anger was a constant stress. The woman still concerned over his soul, not wanting separation from God so suggested one day after the divorce that he go to church, just go to the first service since she went to the second, so at least the soul could get fed by good things. He did. The guy had picked up a girlfriend prior to their divorce and so was sleeping with her on a regular basis. The ex-wife did still talk with the man since the marriage ended without all the traditional bitter fighting, so they did talk about his new girl and because the ex-wife flows in powerful prophetic giftings, the Lord would tell her things so she would know without really having to ask him, but would ask anyway, and he would admit that he didn't love this new friend (girl) and that he couldn't remember her middle name, but yes they were friends {(friends having sex) and what is scary about that is this girl is a person studying some kind of theology in school.}. But then after a few more weeks he admitted that they say " i love you." So i guess that's growth~ He did tell his ex-wife before the divorce that this girl was just a friend and they would go hiking and that he wasn't sexually attracted to her at all and if you seen her you would know why. The ex-wife did meet her at the gym where they all three worked out and true, the girl was not pretty, so it sounded believable to the ex-wife that there was no sexual attraction. Although horny desperate men stop caring what you look like after a certain point, obviously! Anyway, more damaging than any of this believe it or not, is a careless minister...
At church, a nationally known healing minister was in the first service and talking about how Jesus had the 12 inner circle guys and so this minister proceeded to pick out 12 guys from the congregation then bring them up to the front where the 3rd guy chosen was this guy who was and is still in a backslidden state and who didn't qualify to be up there at that time. The minister then told these 12 men to go out into the congregation and to get someone out of their seat then bring them back up to the front with them where they would then pray and minister to them...... now can you imagine this.../!? Here is the compliment to that backslidden guy; he didn't do it, but had walked off probably feeling very uncomfortable and empty and so didn't do it because he must have known that he should not have been picked at that time for this....... but what is troublesome is that minister.........what was going on? For in the 2nd service, which flowed Benny Hinn in style, even singing "I Exalt Thee," even sung by the lady who was healed of MS, this minister in uncouth wisdom says, "you don't need a benny hinn to be here......" Honestly, duh! Never use other people to justify your own words because people as a whole are not stupid. Benny is not high minded and Benny did not put himself in that position he is in nor can he keep himself in that position he is in. The body is being used in every gifting now and we all know it so this never should have been said just to justify to the congregation that regular lay people can flow in miracles! My God, we respect authority, big or small, without hiding behind justifications that are not the real gift of encouragement at work! You don't sacrifice one piece of God to build up another piece of God. One piece is one body part. So you don't sacrifice Benny to build up a finger~ We are one body-period. And besides, if it truly were about a man and the flesh then i would look for the benny, but as is, we look for the Spirit, wherever He may flow, in and through whomever He may flow.
If we keep doing this then we will keep staying powerless~God ONLY works in unity, starting with Father, Son, Holy Spirit, then onto the Word that became flesh and dwelt among us, then to the indwelling within born again people..... it's how we sum up the law and prophets with those 2 commands~ Selah friend of God, i'm on your side~
