Memorial Before God
Not sure, was Cornelius an Italian, Roman, or Jew? Nevertheless, he was rich, having a couple of household servants, another devout soldier that also waited on him continually. The nice thing about Cornelius is how he shared his wealth to help those in need or less fortunate, and was a praying man who not only experienced a supernatual vision but God answered his prayers... so much so that God sent an angel just to let him know! Wow~
