My New Friend

After Church Sunday Mike and I had some chicken at Hometown then walked around the Chesterfield Mall to take in the Christmas Spirit.  How special to have met and connected with Sarah from Israel.  We had great conversation!  Originally she was demonstrating the Electrode Wired Tens Device on Mike's shoulders and ears, which we did purchase along with the Electrode Massage Shoes for a great discounted price.  We discussed Obama and how we didn't vote for him, yet want a different President in 2012.  We talked about prayer and the Torah, the crazy Iranian President, the issue between Ishmael and Issac, and she said that many don't get it about how we need to love; they are all cousins, all related.  The fighting needs to yield to love.  She feels so warm because she has met so many Christians that support Israel and said it makes her feel so warm in her heart.  She asked if we had children and said i should have 1, 2, 3...  She discerned that Mike wants them and said if i do to pray, to believe...  She shared, profoundly, "When you talk to God, asking Him, He doesn't send you away empty handed."  She said she'd be praying for me and we hugged three different times while talking, even though she was at work there in the middle of the Mall.  Sarah invited me to come back to see her and have coffee with her, that we have a lot to talk about.  So i pray God does that because she is very nice and warm person.  We connected very well.  It was joyful that we talked about faith and that her name being Sarah, made me point out Abraham's Sarah, who received by Faith a child late in age.  Sarah then shared how the Angel said she'd be with child and how (Sarah) laughed.  The Angel knew.  It was really neat how many Bible/Torah stories we got to talk about... Makes me feel special to have met her.
