~i agree, don't believe stuff like this. Jesus isn't into molding us into cowards so our fearful vision becomes, "How Soon Can We Get Out of Here." We live by Faith (Gal 2:20). So setting Arm-me-geddon-out-of-here dates is not spiritually practical. We live in the mind of Christ (Phil 2:5) and so share in the sufferings of Christ (2 Tim 1:8). We are not appointed to wrath (1 Thes 1:10) but not necessarily dismissed from tribulation (Acts 14:22). We live by faith (2 Cor 5:7), die by faith (Ro 11:20; 1 Pt 1:9), please God by faith (Heb 11:6), and overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Rev 12:11). We don't know the day or hour of His Coming (Mt 24:36) but like Paul, have learned to accept whatever processing must come (1 Pt 1:9) until we successfully die daily ( 1 Cor 15:31) to our own (Ro 8:7) carnality... at times we make hard decisions while awaiting a great reward (Col 2:18), knowing in the meantime that His burden is light, His yoke is easy (Mt 11:29-30), so we're not unrealistic but we do dream (Acts 26:19); being part of a Kingdom that is bigger than I... for as is right, I must decrease and He must increase (Jn 3:30). Father God doesn't tell angels the privileged information concerning His return (Mt 24:36) so He certainly isn't going to tell man (Job 15:15). If you start to see embarrassing billboards that note how Jesus is coming back in May 2011- Laugh at it! Because a merry heart does good like a medicine (Pro 17:22).
