The boys and their cousin sang a fantastic gospel song for all of us. Their Grandma taught them the song and the oldest boy called it "The 4th Generation." It's about living the life because Jesus is coming back. Awesome!
As kick off took place the Prayer was fantastic also! Allen led with Scripture then many of us joined in. Great Presence of the LORD within it all. St. Louis has prophetic promises dating back over 100 years, and the LORD will keep His Promises... Praise God, it's exciting! The blond worshipper said something to someone that caught in my ears, "If you don't go, you won't grow." I love it! Going to remember that for the next time i don't feel like going and doing something... yet know you should go. Ah...
These were the shoes i wore today but it reminded me of Eccl 9:11... The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.
Hope you had a lovely day, i'm just sitting here on the couch with my laptop in my lap (pun) while blogging... the fire is smokin' hot and feels good! It's cold outside and when i went out to feed the raccoons, Sissy sat in my lap on the steps and snuggled with me. It was so cute!
This is actually Bubba, her brother, taken at an earlier time but wanted you to experience the cuteness. Sissy sits on my lap and because of wearing Mike's big jean insulated shirt over my shirt, i can wrap that around her since i don't button it up.
