Under Reaganomics: p96
Economy grew about 3.4% annually
Inflation dropped about 8.10%
Unemployment fell from 7.1 to 5.5%
15 million new jobs were created
Prime interest rate fell by 1/3rd
Productivity jumped 15%
Charitable donations grew 57% faster than inflation
Would love to see dramatic change in spending... we could start by cutting federal welfare by 50% (food stamps, section 8, whatever else is given out for free because of how sin is getting rewarded for leading a person into bad unholy choices), and since there are too many people who could or should work instead of depend on this depraved and oppressive system that suffocates the very potential by oppressing the person and making the person less happy with themselves when had they worked and made a difference by engaging in their trade, we would have safer, more productive communities. And yes, i know people on welfare, some work part time some work none at all... and those who work have more confidence, better personal hygiene, keener mental acuteness, struggle less with shame unless they have hardened their heart so hard to become copesetic of their negative non-contributing life style so refuse to feel shame because can't stand that feeling so become defensive or proud instead, but if not this then they do interact better and become more productive as a community neighbor because of starting to care about how their life contributes to the lives around them. There's a principal that says money attracts money. This is true in many areas. Debt attracts more debt. Love inspires more love. Hate infects with more hate. Dependency produces more dependants. So check your welfare programs, and stop acting like you really care about the poor, because keeping them dependant instead of helping them produce their true calling is not love at all. And with all realism, the poor will always be with us, but don't keep the same poor, poor! Teachers must gets kids to graduate! Parents must get kids to grow up! Kids having kids is never going to work. Not in the Whitehouse, not in my house, not in your house, not in the po' house. Kids are not responsible for rebuilding society, so if you let kids run everything, they will also ruin everything.
When i was a child, i spoke as a child, understood as a child, i thought as a child, but when i became a man, i put away childish things (1Cor 13:11).
