German Chancellor Angela Merkel vowed to "set an example" Monday by laying out plans to save euro80 billion through 2014 by reducing handouts to parents, cutting 15,000 government jobs and delaying projects such as construction of a replica of a Prussian palace in Berlin.
Germany, which will provide the largest chunk of the EU fund, has pressed other eurozone countries to make big budget cuts to reduce the chances of them needing a bailout.
Markets "want to see not only actions but deeds" to shore up the currency, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble told reporters.
Ever heard that one liner? "Gotta put your money where your mouth is." It sure isn't easy somtimes but take faith in God, where He too expects faith to work with action (Jms 2:22). It's hard getting out of debt, we too are trying to do it and it's been like taking one step forward, two steps or more backwards, but thank God for the prophetic word! Personal words that God allowed to be spoken over us have always given us hope and vision. Something to plan by while we use those words as strength to keep pressing on forward when it's hard, more negative. We just bought our 5th house yesterday and paid the $4,716 cash for it so now engage faith again for the work plan and budget to pay for rehabbing this house, which puts us back again at the mercy of God's blessing, which Lord willing, tomorrow will share the word spoken over Mike & me years ago to show how the prophetic works, how if you stick to it, will help you make decisions at a time which seems foolish or unwise. Faith however, thankfully, allows for things like how God will take the things of the foolish to confound the wise because faith operates without chronological boundaries, something accepted prior to proof in many instances.
