A Few Things

"Also growing was the concern over the energy crisis fueled by Carter's inability to work with Congress to resolve what would become a national emergency.  Overall, Carter was beginning to look weak and ineffectual as a leader." p94  Jimmy Carter The Liberal Left and World Chaos.

Started the book a long time ago but decided to pick it up and read more while watching O'Reilly (7:55pm), who just questioned how Carter was bashing Ted Kennedy?  So after the commercials Bill will and did share the verbal clip of Carter (being interviewed by another network), to blame the late Senator Ted Kennedy for blocking health care, a system Carter thinks we would have today but thinks Ted didn't want to see Carter succeed.  What is it with liberals that seem to specialize in blame while thinking that Christians use Jesus as a crutch... yet crutches have one assignment for two armpits that are exactly alike... to hold the person up.  So Christians use crutch Jesus and liberals use crutch blame.  Nonetheless, it's what we use to hold ourselves up.  And i would much rather use a person, than use a person, if you understand what i mean, because it's more relational~

A wicked man accepts a bribe behind the back to pervert the ways of justice (Proverbs 17:23).  This defines crooked political arrogance well.  Maybe we should ask Blagojevich?  But the only problem is, God is far from the proud, because it's very hard to be around arrogance, so He will resist it (1 Pt 5:5)~  I don't even like myself when i'm an arrogant pig, so how can i expect anyone else to?  Especially God?  But thank God He sends correction to those He loves because of being a Good Father (Proverbs 3:12).

"Creativity prevents lukewarmness while maintaining spiritual levels already achieved."
(received this in prayer the other day and wrote it in my prayer journal, then read it again today as was turning the next page)
