Imagination

"Imagination is where the eye of faith goes to read its story."

This is Pat's house. Painted the ledges and foundation two-tone. The contrast is deep and ties into my house colors using the natural flow. September 4th would have been my mom's 70th birthday. Mike was in his chair when this thought came to me on the couch... Then, do you remember that faith may be used negatively as well as positively? What we see we can be. When vain imaginations enter, we are to cast them down, not deny they exist, just realize this, then cast them down before any invisible hook leads us astray (2 Cor 10:5).
Prevention is the best key. It is harder to reverse something than it is to work hard to prevent it. It is easier to keep up than catch up. The way of the unfaithful is hard (Pro 13:15), yet there is one who makes himself rich, yet has nothing; and one who makes himself poor, yet has great riches (Pro 13:7). Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Matt 5:3).
Pat is like this. She doesn't have a lot of money although she works and makes a decent hourly wage, but during our lunch the other day as she shared stories of forgiveness concerning a devisive friend, she unknowingly revealed to me a depth of character that you don't see on the New York Stock Exchange, or the Whitehouse, or words from the Imam deceptively building peace out from a collasped bridge, or usury charges rapaciously building the one sided success story...
