Proverbs Ten

v16  The labor of the righteous leads to life, the wages of the wicked (lawless) to sin.

v15  The rich man's wealth is his strong city; the destruction of the poor is their poverty.... which came because of being lazy, and/or lazy on the job (v4); which means being not well liked is probable because this leaves the taste of vinegar in your co-worker and/or neighbors mouth, while the smoke left behind is causing that burning sensation in their eye (v26).

v22  The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

The way of the LORD is strength for the upright, but destruction will come to the workers of iniquity (wicked man, lawless man, man of oppression) v29.

v2  Treasures of wickedness (empowered by self, Godless consultation and honor, oppressive systems, tyrant leaders, inflated-arrogant salaries) profit nothing, but righteousness (acheived by faith in Christ first Peter 1:9 style) delivers from death.

The fear of the wicked will come upon him, and the desire of the righteous will be granted (v24).

v17  He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, but he who refuses correction goes astray.
