Jn 16:32 Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own (things or place), and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.
Have now seen Glenn Beck different times being interviewed on O'Reilly, as well as his own show when Glenn interviewed Martin Luther King's niece along with that preacher, wherein that interview he confessed "Our Lord" and Faith. Glenn once asked O'Reilly, "You need Jesus?" Glenn promoted the "Prince of Peace" in another interview where he felt like one but then instantly, suddenly, realized how that sounded to say it like that after O'Reilly had asked him about how he was feeling, but Glenn's conscious instantly corrected his own casual speech because Glenn realized how bad he worded that, like some person coming across as being the Prince of Peace, and Glenn's face reported immediate shock because that is not at all how he wanted to come across, so instantly he corrected himself in front of O'Reilly so that Bill wouldn't misunderstand either, and so that Jesus Christ was given His due right of honor. You can also see consistent joy from the Lord (Gal 5:22) upon Glenn's face. I hope all this recent bashing doesn't steal that because it's nice to see God's joy there. I don't see the pride and lust working in Glenn, but do get to see that he obeys 1 Jn 2:15-16 - Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life- is not of the Father but is of the world. Glenn confessed that he wants to know the Truth. He's not high-minded and it shows in the things he says about himself.
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. Jn 4:23
Called Ragena tonight. Years ago at her house we watched a video on Mormonism. One of the cults. Can't remember a thing about the video, and her nor i could remember the words of one prophecy that was given sometime after that information which pertained to religious groups like the Mormons; something about how God was going to do a work then use them to help promote Christianity (something more detailed along this line). The prophetic word was given years ago but is so vague and hard to remember. But went online to look up what do Mormons believe: http://www.mormonbeliefs.org/mormon_beliefs
Sounds Christian except the part about Joseph Smith, which i can't agree with. Let no man cheat you out of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind. Col 2:18
So what difference is there between the Mormons adding to God's Word by adding Joseph Smith to the dialogue, the Catholics with the over emphasis on Mary, the Pentacostals with idol worship of materialism, the Baptists who section off and leave out portions of the Holy Spirit for thinking in past-tense viewpoints or interpretations, or the Holiness Church that is so legalistic you can't wear make-up or short sleeves? In Revelation Ch. 2-3, six out from the seven describable churches were getting something wrong and had major issues to correct, but 1 Jn 4:7 says we are known by our love and instructs the beloved... let us love one another for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The irony of said churches? We at least all believe in the most important fact... that Jesus Christ is the Blood that saves us from sin. That, and that fact alone, gives us common ground~
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Cor 6:9-11
And behold I (Christ Jesus) am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. Rev 22:12
~I guess the only test left is, can you confess that Jesus is the Son of God? Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him (1 Jn 4:15-16). Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also (1 Jn 2:22-23). For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world- our faith. 1 Jn 5:4
Think about this strategically for a moment please... The differences of anointing, appointing, and purpose of the courts of the LORD- outer, inner, Holy of holies. Do you suppose the Rally Matthew 6:10 style was held in which of these 3 courts? Glenn went there not to promote more politics. Not to become Billy Graham junior. He simply knew that if we turn back to God and His principles that God will change our hearts and put our country back on the right track. It is highly doubtful his agenda was hidden and laced with evil after all God has shown me about him... Glenn has beautiful childlike faith in Jesus and he knows God is the answer for America. It is righteousness that exalts a nation. Not politics. No great revivalists speeches. But the righteousness that comes from having faith in Jesus Christ~
