~Had a good time with the Becks on Sunday. We had a BBQ at their house then spent time together talking and playing with their one year old baby on the living room floor.
Mike and i watched a Disney movie on Saturday and was quite surprised over how much gospel there was. WOW! It was based on a true story but nothing was cut off when it came time to pray... or do an ocean baptism, or calmly raise the dead. Even the mention of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, was spoken unashamedly and without apology... Anne Hathaway played as one of the stars in role.
~Opened up the bible a little while ago to this:
v6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Jesus, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?"
v7 And Jesus said to them, "It is not for you to know the times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority."
v8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
