Acts 17
v2 Paul, as was his custom, went to church and for three weeks reasoned with the Jews from the Scriptures, explaining and demonstrating that Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, saying, "This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ."
Adam prefall was a genius, and there was nothing wrong with him using empirical data prefall at that time yet after the fall, empirical data was used to puff up the pride of knowledge so that in the vein of decrepit motives, knowledge turned useless regardless of the potential to appear in answer form. Once the motive is bad it doesn't matter how you package it up. Christ became the Last Adam and the Restorer of the Fall Movement so that now we may enjoy all things in Christ with thanksgiving, contingent upon confession of sin (to turn away from it), and to receive a different mind and heart (by turning to faith in Christ). It's ok to be an intelluctual Christian, and it's ok as long as the motive isn't screwed up... for if that light that is in you ever becomes dark, how great is that darkness? Jesus had no problem in keeping the True Light, Light... as well as use a few people capable of being those "who have turned the world upside down (v6)..."
