Huckabee

Enjoyed watching the Huckabee show tonight.  One guy was convicted of a brutal murder when he was 18 while living in Texas, USA.  He was strung out on drugs, adopted, had confessed to his biological father who had visited him the day before who was there to share God with him, which didn't go over very well since Maury pointed out to his dad how he had been a drunk most of his life and had walked out on the family.  Maury Davis told his dad he didn't believe in God! Why should he?!  His dad cried.  Maury spent 8 years in prison.  Jesus Christ saved Maury's soul.  Now, 30 years later he has a stable family, is a pastor in Tennesee, USA with a thriving-growing church... because God gave Maury a second chance.  Maury did try to breach up the division he caused with the family of the person he murdered but they aren't ready to talk to him and he doesn't want to cause them anymore pain.  Mike interviewed 3 people.  Great interviews.  Made me praise the LORD!  Chong is still funny and i really believe he will end up in heaven with us.  Did you see all the Christlike qualities come out in that one interview?  He was honest (said how he felt in prison about being afraid and sweating), compliant (when told to plead guilty), he agreed by nearly defending Huckabee (body language-hands) when Mike said he didn't agree about marijuana and Chong agreed that Mike would have to change too many things (so this is how love acts when it doesn't demand its own way); Chong was light hearted and happy, funny about the joke he made of him and Mike smoking pot in the back (which you knew was a joke, he wasn't trying to discredit or be deceitful).  Chong also agreed instead of resisted like all true liberals would have, that America needs to come back to the Spirit and God which are the principals our country was built upon... It's easy to believe that Jesus will get Chong away from marijuana activism in this lifetime, sometime before heaven.  He grew up with Christian exposure and activities and would feel the Spirit enter him and would find escape... in the interview you could feel a man of peace and before knowing anything about exposure to Christian life was reminded of that Scripture that there will be some in heaven that you didn't think would be and some that you thought to be that wouldn't be...  so although Chong is missing it on the pot thing, i still think Jesus will work that out~
