Miracles
Ray's dad who lives in Texas was on his way out, diagnosed with cancer, this nasty, evil man didn't deserve to live... he caused so many family problems and lies... Ragena's husband Bryan called Ray because the two are long time friends and Bryan learned from Ray all the stories that were and had gone on and how Ray's dad was dying with cancer so Bryan counseled, "Dude, you gotta put all that stuff aside and lead your dad to the LORD." Ray was discouraged but Bryan added, "Give me his phone number and I'll do it!" Bryan tried several times, reaching only an answering machine until one day "Lefty" answered the phone. Lefty is wife to Mr. Zola (Ray's dad). Bryan ended up praying with her. A day later, on Sunday, as Ragena and Bryan were eating lunch, Ray's dad called Bryan back, which shocked Bryan who then shared several things about the LORD, about eternal life and stuff with this dying man. The man said the sinners prayer with Bryan, weeping as he was doing it. The next day Ray's dad had went for a check up and the Doctor sat him down with his report saying that in his 30 or 40 years of practice he has only seen a handful of these cases... There's no sign of cancer in your body. The doctor took him off of all his med's and told him to eat healthy and to go home and enjoy your family.
The dad, having just left his doctor's appointment had called his son and told him to sit down. The son expected to hear his dad say he'd be dead in a week or two but instead the dad was crying so hard Ray couldn't understand him. After hearing the good news Ray then called Bryan who was in the middle of an irrigation project so was on this lady's property digging a ditch... Bryan stopped what he was doing. "Say that again!" Bryan started dancing right then and there, out in the open on that lady's property. He called Ragena to tell her. Ragena stopped in her tracks, raised her hands to heaven and started dancing, rejoicing with Bryan for what the LORD had done to save the soul and life of this evil man. His soul, his body, his life! Ray's dad said, "I feel like a brand new person. I slept like a baby for the first time in a long time. I didn't even get up to use the toilet!"
Before this miracle, Bryan was discouraged so had confessed to his brother how he was tired of praying for people to be healed and they die- but after hearing what happened to Mr. Zola his brother anwered, "Well you just broke your streak."
