{Onyx Stone OT} The high priest wore 2 onyx stones, one on either shoulder of his ministerial garment... GOD said they were memorial stones for the Israeli sons and each stone had 6 Israeli tribal names engraved upon them (Lev 39:6-7), in birth order (Ex 28:10). The priest was to bear their names before the LORD on his two shoulders as a memorial (Ex 28:12). Just as Jesus was doing in the New Testament when He went out to find His lost sheep; then having found them bore them on His shoulders, not forgetting the wayward sheep, rather, He blotted out all their repented sin and placed them into His easy burden and light yoke (Matt 11:29-30) as He carried them with the Government upon His shoulders (Isa 9:6-7), becoming our Wonderful Mighty God and Counselor, giving us His Prince of Peace leadership and forever Being our Everlasting Father! To His Peace and increase of government, there will be no end, so rejoice with Me, for I (Jesus) have found My sheep which was lost! Lk 15:6
