No Waste
Lk 12:35 Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning.If you think about your waist spiritually, it's location is where we place the spirit of man (1 Cor 2:11), and when that man is filled with God's Spirit (3 Jn 3) we then say we are being led by the Spirit of God (Ro 8:14), the indwelling Spirit of God (1 Cor 3:16) Who led us through the death process (1 Cor 15:54-57/Ro 10:9-10/Jms 2:22), death to the desires of our sinful flesh nature (1 Cor 3:1-3/1 Jn 2:16) so that now through Jesus Christ and His Blood we are allowed a resurrection into the one new man ( Ep 2:15), unto the newness of life in Christ (Ro 7:6), having also the very mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16). Whenever a trial hits us ( 1 Pt :12) from the outside or should the old mind of enmity (Ro 8:7) lie and try to counterfeit resurrection, we then resist the devil (Jms 4:7) and stand, having girded our waist with truth (Eph 6:14), the Spirit of Truth (1 Jn 5:6).
