Driven by a demon
Blue v26-36 Ch 8 LukeJesus had already commanded the demons to come out of him (v29) but rebellion doesn't first obey, so the violent will take it by force (Mt 11:12) as another dialog begins as Jesus asked the demon-possessed man his name. "Legion." (v30) The guy had many demons that gave supernatural strength to bust open chains, drive him into the wilderness (v29), to stop wearing clothes since {(v27) demons hate coverings because of symbolizing forgiveness in most cases, also accountability}, but to live in the graveyard (v27)? That's just dark and sick; all those who hate life love death (Pro 8:36). The legion of demons knew that all they could do to Jesus was rebel against Him by not agreeing or at best, ask for His permission because of having no real influence in the Presence of Real Anointing... the demons asked not to be tormented (v28)! They begged not to be sent to the abyss (v31)! They asked for permission to enter the pigs. Which was just fine with Jesus, pigs are unclean to the Jew anyway, and, He doesn't like burnt bacon. The testimony was created, the man got delivered and put back in his right mind, he even started wearing clothes again! Which thing is good for everybody~
