(v37-38) Her faith wasn't so much focused on what she wanted and so could think it up then could control it until something happened or until she got what she wanted.  Her faith focused on gratitude and repentance, and on the pure, innocent value of Christ Jesus...  She knew Who He was and her faith led her into public worship, completely unashamed of Jesus.  The just shall live by faith (Ro 1:17).  We are saved by Grace through Faith (Eph 2:8).  Jesus is the Grace of God (Jn 1:17) and Christ Jesus stood there as Grace and forgave this woman saying, "Your sins are forgiven (v48)", declaring to her, "Your faith has saved you.  Go in peace (v50)."  Now understand, Jesus had not yet died or rose from the grave so His Blood hadn't been shed yet for the remission of our sins, yet in this story neither was there a blood sacrifice being offered up on some altar for her sins by the high priest BUT by Faith Jesus stood as her High Priest, and by Faith her sins are forgiven, and by Faith Jesus would soon enough be offering up Himself as her sacrifice for sin and be her active High Priest... it happened already in the Spirit and it would happen down here too (Matt 6:10)!  Jesus was living by faith with all of this because he hadn't pulled off that cross story just yet so then in this story He would be violating law and acting like satan who always tried to come in through some back door method to get what he wants BUT just because Jesus is God, it didn't mean He didn't have to do things a certain Way when He was here... He still had to fulfill the Law and He did it all the way to the point of death except His death was for our sin... BUT remember, (Gal 5:22-23) there is no law against LOVE!  ~And saving her soul is about as Lovely as it gets
