About The Hand

Blue  v1-11  Ch 6  Luke

You know what's interesting about the man with the withered hand?

He wasn't standing in the prayer line asking for healing.  He hadn't said one prayer outloud to confess the sin of wrongdoing.  He wasn't being counseled over whatever iniquity sin might have caused this problem to show up like this in his life.  No one discussed his generational propensities, his biological contingencies, his intellectual responsibility, or his spiritual accruement.  He was just sitting in church.  This guy was just sitting there in church while Jesus had this thing going on with the Pharisees, and boy did Jesus know how to make the most of every opportunity while He produced good fruit with His teaching!

The Pharisees couldn't be worshipping God because now all their attention was just on waiting to see if Jesus was going to heal this man with the withered hand.  They wanted Jesus to do it but not so the man could be relieved of pain, but so that they could accuse Jesus of breaking the law.

So let me get this straight.  You believe law saves you if you obey it?  So is it lawful to do good or to do evil in church?  To save  life or to destroy?  You don't like My timing but after you've discerned the weather pattern; hot air from the south, cold air from the north; can you not see what time it really is? hmm!  Thanks, interesting~

Well then let Jesus show you... "Stretch out your hand."  The man who didn't ask for nothing got his hand restored as whole as the other. (I don't know what faith this man had for miracles but it didn't matter when Sovereignty owns everything and is on a mission).  This guy gets to be happy but the Pharisees still couldn't be happy about it, they couldn't even take a little time to rejoice with the guy... because they are of their father the devil so acted out in his spirit, becoming filled with rage and discussing what they might do to Jesus~  Sound advice goes like this, "Be careful what you think you might do to Jesus, having learned from the cross, that not all plans that look to be in your favor, end up in your favor after all."  So while you're busy trying to destroy Him and His followers who are getting better, Jesus is still busy building His Kingdom and giving His people testimonies.
