Later in the afternoon, when primering the back porch, Mike the right side neighbor was sitting in his backyard and said 'now Cindy I don't know how to ask this but is it because of the religion that you're not allowed to drink?' "No," i said. "We're allowed to drink but not get drunk." (I don't drink and don't like the taste of it, not even when i was in the world, alcohol was never a weakness for me, but this answer came out for him because they drink all the time.) For a Christian i don't recommend drinking at all because Jesus saved us out of the world and some people had a big problem with alcohol, coming from a lineage of drinkers, so once Jesus saves you, if you didn't have a problem with it before Jesus, you won't have a problem with it after because it wasn't a temptation. Somtimes, when you see that a wall could go up and you could lose your chances, then strategy will help out so that the Light can get through the crack in the foundational wall, meaning, most people don't understand religion, don't understand that not all religions are created equal, and that you don't always have time to give great discourse, and even if you did, you're going to talk over their head, so by keeping it simple sometimes, will help a lot. Mike then said to me that they always have Bar-Be-Ques in their backyard and that me and (my) Mike are welcome anytime, and they have all kinds of stuff to drink like tea, milk, water, juice... and i said, "Thank you, we'll have to take you up on that sometime." He is very entertaining and loves to flow in quick witted humor.
