Jesus took his inner circle (Peter, James, John) up on a high mountain; and Jesus was transfigured before them. His clothes became shining white (much whiter than the white suit Benny Hinn wore many times in crusades). And Elijah and Moses (the law and prophets) apppeared and they were talking with Jesus. Then Peter answered a question before anyone even asked a question, but had felt need to say something (to lead), because that choleric-sanguine side didn't much like the quiet or the discomfort of not knowing what was going on or what to do, but since (v6) he did not know what to say because they were afraid, Peter says, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; (how does he know?) and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah (he is so daring, here he stands with spiritual archaic leaders of well documented experience, plus Jesus the Christ, and Peter boldly trys to get something going but finds another learning curve into maturity, only this time, instead of Jesus the sharp two edged sword rebuking him, Father God sends a Glory Cloud complete with His own Voice to declare the position of Jesus in their lives. "This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!" So while the law tutors within the circle, now came the time to listen to the Ever Living God, and in declarative example given through first hand experience, who were they left looking at? The law and the prophets? No... v8 Suddenly, when they had looked around, they saw no one anymore, but only Jesus with themselves. Because Jesus came to fulfill the law and the prophets, every last dot and mathematical tittle. And the spirit of prophecy is now the testimony of Jesus~ How you like them apples
