1 dead 12 yr old girl; now ex-dead
James and John are brothers.
Peter is the loud, aggressive, action-oriented Apostle.
Jesus permitted these 3 only to follow Him to the
synagogue ruler's house where was his 12yr old. v37
Jesus countered the original news of her death by
telling the synagogue ruler to "Not be afraid;
only believe." v36
This was very important for James to hear because
Jesus intended on using James to specialize on
faith working with action and in this story James
was getting ready to see first hand how Jesus
lived by faith in action.
Jesus then countered the expressed grief by using
His question to make them question themselves,
"Why make this commotion and weep?" v39
Jesus spoke against the report ealier that verbalized
the girl was dead, so by countering this weepy crowd,
which ridiculed for His faith statement, He said that,
"The child is not dead, but sleeping." v39-40 Jesus
needed to put the reason there (sleeping) because
if He didn't confusion would step in, but it didn't,
just mockery because they thought they really knew
she was dead so resisted Jesus on these grounds.
And they were right but you can be right and still be
wrong when God's in the house because of His right
to declare A Living Word.

Life Seed that Jesus spoke was used to counter it... she's not dead v39
Jesus gets everything in place. He first gets all the doubters out of the house because even He can't do great miracles around unbelief, so he got those people out of there. Then He kept orderly by having the head of the household stay in the room so mom and dad got to stay. Then Jesus has the foundational type people in the room... an apostle, a prophet, the 3rd to confirm an eye witness account based on how Jesus revealed his Loving Kingdom... Action-Moving, Insightful, Orderly, Systematic/Strategic, Father and Mothers of the Faith, Sound Teaching through Demonstration, Love... Christ Jesus. Christ Jesus was revealing Father Christ Jesus. 12=God's Divine Power, Rule, Authority... Jesus didn't command them in v43 to go out with the testimony but that no one should know it, but to give her something to eat. *The Way to Father is through Jesus... the testimony is always about what Jesus did... Jesus does what He does because of what He sees Father do... but if you teach Father before Jesus then people will try to come in through the back door and forget about the Son that (Ps 2:12) we are to kiss lest he be angry... Father is the Humble Gentle Creator and Jesus is carrying His Sword. The Sword that will separate our flesh so that we may have a relationship with Father God.
