Victory Testimony

 Blue  v6  Ch 6  Job
v6 Can flavorless food be eaten without salt?  Yes, (in the hospital while you're getting better) but it doesn't taste as good.  You are the salt of the earth...Mt 5:13.

Gotta give Jesus a praise testimony here because Mike and i have been through many things in our 24 year life together and only Christ has been able to bring us through many hard and trying times, as well as let us enjoy the good times.  Back when we lived in St. Charles we invited our neighbor over for dinner a few times so we got to know each other a little through conversation-demonstration.  We moved into the city a few years ago yet when sharing several blogs ago about getting to counsel a married couple it was this couple in reference.  Tonight Mike had dinner with the husband, who just wanted to talk because some deeply revealing things recently came out in confession between our friend's marriage...

The good news update is that their marriage is doing better.  He shared how they look up to us as an example of how you can go through things and still come out on top; so they decided to continue in their marriage, and will keep working on it.  This makes me happy, yes thankful to Jesus because truly Mike and i wouldn't have a marriage today if it wasn't for Him... somewhere deep inside me you just know that Christ didn't let us screw it up, finding a way to make it through the pain, then the recovery from so much craup.  Mike and i both know Christ saved it; that Jesus saved us for some special purpose because nobody in their right mind would have stayed together in this marriage knowing the extreme laundry list... God hates divorce yes indeed but even the bible says you can divorce for sexual immorality, but could you imagine ending up with sombody else only to run into the same type problem in a different body, only this time you get to start all over -  AT THE BOTTOM... NO Thank You!   Praise God that He didn't let us do that~  He's such a Good Father!

What pain feels good at the time?  None!  So the way i see it is you can either suffer for the devil or suffer for righteousness, but either way or in either kingdom you can be sure there will be some suffering involved, but at least in God's Kingdom we get to be HEALED!  whewhooooooooooooooo!  And that gives hope and hope does not disappoint!
