Very Merry Christmas

v1 It is good to give thanks to You LORD, and to sing praises to Your Name Most High; Thanks for letting us declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and faithfulness every night.

Mike and i watched another Christmas movie on TV last night and it was so good to see LIFE there.  Instead of seeing Jesus being removed from everything, in this movie they promoted Him by doing things like praying at dinner time around the table and thanking Father God for the birth of His Son; they used Christmas carols that sang of the glory of God instead of user friendly holiday music.  Love was promoted very well and one of the main points verbalized was that Christmas was about Giving!  And the word forgiveness was even used.  My heart was so happy over all of this because whoever made this movie wasn't ashamed of Jesus or Christianity and it is refreshing to see the purity there, the easy burden and light yoke connected to remembering Jesus really is our hope.  Life!  The grateful tears sprang up to the back of my eyes a few times while watching this because it reminded me that our world isn't as bad as i thought it was getting and it gave me hope that people still want real Life.  And Who better of a Person to know what that is except Jesus.  God i was so grateful~  Even grateful for the commercials that were on in-between that were promoting to quit smoking and companies that confessed it wasn't about a business opportunity but about being faithful to family, i couldn't believe it, it was so beautiful!  Because i was really getting negative about the world we were living in and feeling many times how hopeless and sick we look, but this was a gift~
