 Reading section in book under 'Integrity and Intent" where it says on p187; Lots of other people cross the line from influence to manipulation, too, such as:  The spiritual leader who uses faith and position to solicit your financial donations.  The spouse who walks out every time there is a disagreement so that you will give in and avoid conflict.  The advertising agency that creates an ad making something sound like a great bargin, only to hide in the fine print that it isn't such a great bargain after all...  You may get away with it once, twice, or even more times, but eventually others will catch on to what you are doing and then you will have to deal with the consequences...chances are you will not like them.  I sound a bit like Obi-Wan Kenobi warning Luke Skywalker to beware of the dark side in Star Wars, don't I?  There is a positive aspect to this whole discussion, and I'll close the chapter from this more upbeat perspective.  Your...body language and nonverbal behavior puts you in an excellent position to avoid the kind of manipulation I have described here. p188
