Shod Peacefully
Blue Ep 6:15
v15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
When a horse is shod it just got new shoes. We are shod with preparation. Prepared by the gospel. Origination point is in peace. Not peace as the world gives. There are many good sinners who are doing quite well like the rich young ruler who also did well. This peace is one that is ready to engage peace because things are not always peaceful, not even in our own lives and hearts, so when praying through my journal this morning this Scripture had me thinking as did Proverbs 20:30 because it says that blows that hurt cleanse away evil just like stripes do for the inner most part of the heart, and even though it's not a ritual to say my feet are shod with the gospel of peace, it is a realization that not everything presented to me will be seeking peace so i must be prepared to bring it, especially in the case where i'm getting hit with the blow that either i didn't see coming so perhaps am suffering for the sake of being cleansed or am suffering for the sake of righteousness which is much better and brings a reward in due season if i faint not. Either way, peace must be accepted with a preparation to enact, standing by the faith (shield of faith) to defend against any kind of suffering that doesn't lead me into Godly repentance or into more growth from glory to glory, whichever the case may be... it's still time to stand and to find God's way to maintain His Gift of Righteousness, Joy, and Peace in the Holy Ghost
