An African Wonder

 Blue Visions
Jon drove house mom Christabel, 2 KKV brothers, Mary and myself over to the house of the grandmother of the 2 boys so they could visit with their grandmother who had been ill and had been in the hospital.  Molly said they had been trying to get over there to see the grandmother for a couple of weeks but couldn't make it because something would come up.  On this outreach we had taken food items to bless the grandma.  When we arrived she wasn't home so the neighbor lady invited us into her tiny place where we received chai tea.  It's amazing how giving and sweet this lady shared.  Married for 10 years, she was without children.  I asked Jon to ask her if we could pray for her and we prayed for her to have an open womb and receive a baby created in God's image...  Jon is faithfully determined and said he would be back in a year to take pictures of the baby .

The grandma came home so we moved one door up to sit in her tiny little place.  These homes are like some places in Mexico; metal pieces held together until a rectangular-square shape appears.  Very poor.  Some have electric, some don't.  Grandma and the neighbor lady did.  Grandma shared how she was taking typhoid fever medicine.  She speaks Swahili only so only Jon, Christabel, and the 2 KKV grandsons could understand her.  Christabel and Jon would interpret for me and Mary.  We laid hands on her and prayed and grandma said she felt stronger and would "cook tonight".  She had problems with her right shoulder area and the use of her right arm because she had been dragged by a car, thought she was dying, and had become unconscious so of course she had been placed into the hospital.  But after we sat there talking, after we had prayed, i felt the Holy Spirit extremly strong, even making my spirit tremble inside and my arms became heavy and thick with His Presence, so naturally i'm thinking what is it?  What else does she need because i'm not feeling this for no reason!  So from a missionary mindset i'm thinking there must be some other problem that needs to be healed so i told Jon that i didn't know how to interpret what i was feeling but to ask her if there was something else, was she getting enough love, was she lonely?  Trying at this point to figure out what still needed to be addressed?  Jon asked and grandma said no.  So i pressed in.  Ask her if she will be able to keep her healing even after the neighbors don't want to help her anymore because now she can cook and do things for herself?  Jon asked but firmitively received her strong faith answer that she would cook tonight and that she believed she is healed.  Jon went on to tell us that she is strong in faith, a woman of God.  But then the grandma solved the question as to why i felt the Holy Spirit so strong.  When she had been dragged by that car and went unconscious, then also thought she was dying, she had a vision.  She said an angel came to her and was speaking in a language she didn't understand but she was able to understand when i told her to go back, that she had to go back.  Grandma said it was me she had seen in the vision and i was wearing the same shirt in the vision that i was wearing now but that i was wearing a white skirt.  I showed her the white linen lining attached to my skirt because under that i was also wearing a white slip.  Grandma said for 2 weeks she had been telling everybody about her vision but they finally told her to stop talking about it.  She wanted to know if it was a good vision so jokingly i told her that if i was in it then it was good .  Seriously though, God was sending her a vision-word to reassure her that she wasn't going to die like she thought and as God's prophetic messenger in the vision, i had told her that she had to go back.  Then Jon perceived that grandma would be used in healing.  So we enjoyed this time of outreach and fellowship with God's spiritual family.     All Praise to the God of Wonders~
