We enjoyed interacting with KKV house-parents and children; wonderful and full of life, they love to dance and sing and seem very happy and simple. Life is not complicated in Kenya. The cell groups are full of relationship, prayer, and pure worship. The outreaches were participant involved as even the moms of sick babies stood in the open square at the hospital to sing along with us with their sick babies on their hips. We prayed for many children to be healed and brought them sweaters and fruit as together we shared the love of Jesus. 4 or 5 sick children will share one room and it's nothing like an American hospital room. The parents sit at bedside with their children and out of all the parents i can't remember one of them telling me "no" they did not know Jesus. It surprised me and made me wonder if they understood the simple question of "Do you know Jesus?" Anna told me a large percentage of the population does but we gave each parent a track in Swahili anyway.
