Blue Ch 13/15 2 Kings
Ch 13 Elisha was suffering from the illness from which he died (v14). {Though Elisha experienced the supernatual, he still experienced the inconveniences that were coming against his natural body but it didn't mean he wasn't anointed, it didn't mean he wasn't right with God, it didn't have to mean he sinned so is now being punished for that.}
Ch 15 At 16 years old Azariah became the king and reigned in Jerusalem for 52 years! The LORD looked at his life and approved of it so the king had done what was right in the eyes of the LORD but even then, the high places were not removed so the subjects keep worshipping the wrong thing. The LORD afflicted the king with leprosy until the day he died, and he lived in a separate house. ~Consequences The LORD loves us in spite of the fact that we will engage at times or sometimes for a long time, in consequences. We can still have our salvation even when we are experiencing consequences. That is hope~
