Yom Kippur Greetings to You in Jesus Name~
The angle being used for Matthew 10:21 in my prayer journal is speaking of the request to God to help us never turn away from the faith, betray or hate each other, because verse 21 speaks of brother betraying brother to the death, and although this verse stuck out while in prayer this morning, i had jotted it down so could look it up in the NKJV.

Aramaean King Ben-Hadad of Damacus, Syria, was ill but learned that Elisha was in town so had sent his soon to be murderous successor to greet Elisha with some gifts to receive the Word from the LORD concerning recovery from this illness, only after the prophet's keen stare, Hazael couldn't figure out why Elisha was weeping? A person with at least some kind of good heart would have at least assumed it was because his master was dying but the heartless guy couldn't put 2 and 2 together. Elisha already told him to tell Ben-Hadad that he would recover but Elisha also said that the LORD had in fact showed him that he would die. I don't know if Elisha knew that this guy was going to murder Ben-Hadad by soaking a towel in water the next day to suffocate the guy to death but Elisha did know Ben-Hadad was going to die and did know that Hazael would be the next king who would do harm to Israel. The guy's mindset is so cold-hearted that he still responds wrong. Instead of becoming worried about being capable of committing such evil he looks at it as if wondering how could someone in his position do that? How sick! He is consumed with thinking he is too low on the positioning scale to be able to do this instead of being upset that someone else thinks he actually could do this!
Do you know why i love living for Jesus? He is not trying to kill everybody as fast as He can. He actually likes a safe and peaceful community and isn't asking me to worship a god of weapons so i can kill somebody who is not just like me! I Love His Peace with Sound Mind. He makes me feel secure and protected and doesn't want me to betray or kill brothers and sisters or refuse them a place to operate as a person. He isn't asking me to kill myself so i can prove how faithful i am to Him. He already died for me so the killing is done, "It Is Finished!"Download | Duration: 00:02:47
