The guy borrowed a tool from his neighbor then lost it in the water! He was cutting down a tree when it happened and became instantly worried because he didn't have the money to pay for it to replace it, which was why he borrowed it to begin with, so now what? Elisha gave the water a stick and the water gave Elisha the iron... i'm not all too sure what that stand off was about but the man did get his tool back so he didn't have to worry about that problem anymore.
