v42 A man...bringing the man of God 20 loaves of barley bread...baked from the 1st ripe grain, along with some heads of new grain..."Give it to the people to eat," Elisha said. v43 "How can i set this before 100 men?" His servant asked. But Elisha answered, "Give it to the people to eat. For this is what the LORD says: "They will eat and have some left over." v44 Then he set it before them, they ate, had some left over, according to the Word of the LORD.
The offering was the man's best. It came first, right off of the top portion, it was fresh. God blessed this offering by not only meeting the need but also leaving an abundance because of the respectful way, respectful motive of priority in which the offering was given to (God); the man gave his very best offering. He didn't wait, procrastinate, or give to God only after paying his bills first; He put the Kingdom of God first and as a result all the current needs were met because the offering was done in the Way that is truly life-giving so this had allowed God to add back by His way that was and is "More Than Enough."
