One Way
Blue v16 Ch4 2 Kgs
v16 "About this time next year," Elisha said, "you will hold a son in your arms."
"No, my lord," she objected. "Don't mislead your servant, O man of God!"
Wow - a lot going on here
She believes he is a holy man of God (v9)
but she also believes he is off and missing it~
~A double minded man is unstable in all of his ways (Jms 1:8).
God's Word (to bless her with a son) went out and did not return void (Isa 55:11). Her doublemindedness did not stop the Word of the Lord from visiting her but it did make a mess for her after the Word came to pass in her life because the power of life and death is still in our tongue (Pro 18:21). Gal 6:7- She sowed an "objection" to God's personal blessing over her life and will reap the death from rejecting God's blessing- but also God is greater than our shortcomings so after we turn back around again He will show that (1 Jn 4:4) Greater is He that is in us (as the Promise) then he that is in the world (our flesh nature that always rejects Him); for He is well able to restore what we couldn't keep, thought we didn't want because it sounded too good to be true, while having learned to embrace faith.
~Praise God
