Preceptive Joy

Blue v7-8 Ch 19 Ps

v7 The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. v8 The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart.

Precepts give joy. When we're not having enough joy then there is something we can do to increase it. Precepts increase it. As precepts (orders/commands intended as an authoritative rule of action) increase, the joy of the LORD will increase too, becoming strength to us.
