~Something special happened today. Was thinking about my California Grandma so decided to call my Uncle to get the number so he gave me Aunt Jill's number and we talked for 2 hours. We touched up on family stories while sharing a lot of Jesus; it just feels good when you hear your family "be" in love with Jesus. We learned that we both have read "The Shack" and loved it! Her church has a great revelation on love and her Pastor is from Australia. Jill told me Grandma is 92, 93 this December and that her body is strong but there's very little language left so it's best to ask yes or no questions... Uncle Kim called it 'dementia'. My Grandma was always very good at telling stories, she had a strong gift of hospitality, was a gourmet cook, and loved to entertain. She could keep you laughing! After telling Kim that i did notice Grandma's mind was slipping a little bit the last time i talked to her in 2006, had noticed that she pulled on the stories and stayed strong. He laughed then said, "The stories are still there but they all run together now." Jill is thinking about and wondering if God wants her to do some kind of group in her home for 20 year olds... Yes indeed, she would be good at it!
~Going to start setting up new computer soon so praise God that He lets me do this well since Duane always did this for me but is currently working 7 days per week.
