Blue v19-22 Ch17 1 Kgsv20 Then He cried out to the LORD, "O LORD my God, have you brought tragedy also upon this widow I am staying with, by causing her son to die?"
Elijah didn't know. He didn't first have a Word from the LORD, he had to act on what He already knew from having a personal relationship with God.
One thing Elijah did was pray with the targeted focus around life. There are times to bind and loose and cast out devils but this time it was simply Life that sought to counter all the surrounding death.
v22 "O LORD my God, let this boy's life return to him!"
Fervent, effectual prayer of a righteous man avails much!!
v19 Elijah took the boy from the widow's arms by Faith because he didn't know yet what or why it had happened but, he believed in the goodness of God and to help himself he went to an environment where he could flow freely and to sort it all out that he may act quickly on what he knew up to that point about God and how God felt about people...
v21 In the prophetic act Elijah stretched out over the boy 3 times, seeking restoration from the Trinity of God's Deity.
Father - restore head/mind
Son - restore heart
Holy Spirit - to restore & consume the inner man
~The LORD's Response
He loved Elijah and answered his prayerful cry~
v22 the boy's life returned to him & he lived~
