It's a mystery?

 Blue  v9-32  Ch 13  1 Kgs

You know, i wonder what happened to the old prophet who had used a lie to get the man of God to follow him?  Sure the man of God should not have followed since the LORD gave him a Direct Command so anything after that, be it from a prophet or from an angel from heaven, could only at best present "another Jesus."  And even though the man of God was being tested, Father does not use lies to promote truth since lies do not prosper; so am waiting to find out what is going to happen to that old prophet for using that lie (v18) on the man of God?  Because even Jacob gets repaid for having wrestled with the Angel of the LORD (Gn32:24-30) because he did it in his own strength (Hos 12:2-4).  Interestingly, the old prophet is requesting to be buried in the grave where the man of God is buried, wanting his bones to lay beside the man of God's bones, and, the burial place just happens to be the tomb of the old prophet because in spite of the mis-step that led to the death of the man of God, the old prophet knew that what was prophesied against imitation worship was accurate, it was God's Word, that Word would come pass so there is recognition going on yet with mourning over "Oh, my brother!"

Just because there was a mis-step, Father God did not recall His Salvation, did not recall His gift, not any of them.  The reason obedience is better than sacrifice is because obedience knows how to get us toward living the abundant life in Christ.
