~My neighbor's wife came over to me today while was painting on the foundation with high gloss white enamel; she had a bag full of ice cream then thanked me for thinking about her family (Bill's sister Marlene who had died in the house fire). We hugged and thanked each other. There were a lot of people outside today. Dane picked weeds out of his flower bed. The black and white children we're playing together across the street, sometimes fighting over the toys but was all ok (i live in a mixed neighborhood). Ora dropped Pat off so we hugged and talked for a few minutes, she wants to take me and Mike out for mexican food so told me to give her a date. Mike and i worked outside. Alexis came over to see if Mike had any bikes and so did the neighbor up the street whom i meet for the first time. Mike wasn't home yet so told both to come back later to ask him and see what he could do.
~Tomorrow is Independence Day for America so will take the day off 
. If anyone ever visits St. Charles, Missouri, USA, there is the historical adventure of Lewis and Clark downtown that has a great gift shop; my sister bought for me a book about Lewis and Clark and also have a great big fat book on Thomas Jefferson; one of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence... if you like history.~Foundations are in history
