v16  The Egyptian pharoah king of Egypt had attacked and captured Gezer, killing its Canaanite inhabitants but then he gave the town as a wedding present to his daughter who was marrying king Solomon.

~That's an interesting wedding present.
~So their kids are going to be Israeli-Egyptians?

Intermarrying has been going on for a long time and so we see Blood is thicker than Water and Love is still stronger than Death.  Both Blood and Love, especially that of Christ, bring Peace~
