Prophet Nathan and Solomon were not invited to the party (v10).
Adonijah and Solomon were brothers. Adonijah had invited everyone of his brothers to the party except Solomon. What an irony since it was Solomon who was promised the kingship next (v17) yet it was Adonijah using this very party to set himself forward to become the next king (v5).
In the Spirit Realm we know what the Earth Realm is catching up to know...Adonijah knew Solomon was scheduled to become the next king but he wanted this so before trying to get away with it he found some powerful people {Commander Joab & Priest Abiathar (v7)} who would support him before attempting to do it, however, the Earthly lie is not going to overpower the Heavenly Promise made to Solomon.
Solomon is experiencing rejection from his brother and seemingly it looks like his future is being taken away but it's not the Truth. Once Father God makes a prophetic declaration according to His Divine Will there is no enemy who can steal this because stealing takes place among thieves. If you could steal from Almighty God then the devil would find ways to steal from GOD to become God... and wouldn't we all be in hell already? It is not possible to altar the Divine Will of God, only challenge it.
The King of kings knows what He wants and will always produce life for His Family. He needs a place to flow and cannot be denied even though He serves us so as to let man carry out the will of man, yet still, it will not be to the point of nullifying His Position as the Almighty Who is producing a Life-Giving Family.
