trees = people (Isa 61:3)
heart = center of your belief system (Col 3:15 / Mt 15:19)
head = seat of authority or authority figure (Is 1:5-6 / Ep 1:22)
10 = law (Ex 20)
Absalom rose up against his father (authority figure = head) to usurp David's position as king. This sinful belief system that flowed out from his heart (Pro 27:19) had turned into the wages of death (Ro 6:23) for the sin he also committed by sleeping with 10 of David's wives (concubines), where literally we see the spiritual battle (Ep 6:12) manifest the heavenly war on earth through this horrific word picture. (Who needs to watch scary movies when you got craup like that going on?)~What you don't feed, Dies.
Over and over again we see Romans 3:4, that God is true, man is a liar, and how grateful we are to be chosen for Salvation when even there is no way we could save or change ourselves.
