v12 After the LORD blessed Obed-Edom's house for 3 months because of the Presence of God there (The Ark), David embraced the joy of relocating with God's Presence into the City of Love (David=Beloved=Jesus), and although his joy was tested (1 Pt 1:7) as Michal failed to look to see the place of unity, innocence, the purity, and purity of reason for David's rejoicing over this position, she also failed to look to see her own pride which didn't want to be associated with this weird over-rejoicing, less than dignified behavior. But Michal needed to understand that whenever God wants to He will chose the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise (1 Cor 1:27).
Revelation comes when sin (6 steps) is being repented for that we may accept the (Father & Son=Christ Jesus) sacrifice (bull/fatted calf) for our sin so that through this Father and Son relationship (we get grafted in through Christ Jesus) and are able to receive the humility (v21) and the Joy of our Salvation (1 Pt 1:8-9).
