v2 Saul is on a mission to kill David.v5-6 Jonathan talks him out of it.
v9-10 An evil spirit influences Saul to try to kill David again.
v18 David flees to Samuel and tells all what Saul is doing.
v18 Samuel & David go to Naioth.
v20 Saul hears David is in Naioth so sent some men to capture
David.
v19-21 Saul's sent men see a group of prophets only they fall
under their anointing & realm of influence. This had
happened 3x's to 3 groups of sent men that were
originally sent to find David so Saul could kill him.
Finally Saul goes himself but it happens to him where instead of an evil spirit coming on him to act evil, God's Spirit came on him where he began to prophesy (v23). Saul prophesied in Samuel's presence, laying that way all day and night (v24).
Saul had entered Samuel's Realm then fell under Samuel's prophetic anointing.
When opposite realms make contact we fall under the influence of whoever is staying the closest to their G-g-(od). If found to be a compromiser, then under the world's influence we fall, if not, then we are able to bring the influence from the Light of God.
